Classes are ending for the kids, but school is still in session for the adults. Beer school, that is. The Maine Brewers Guild Beer School hosts one of a kind classes and events, and they sell out fast—for good reason.
This weekend in Onoro, the Beer School will be partnering with Orono Brewing Company to host a 21+ mountain bike ride followed by beers and a BBQ. Tickets are only $15, and that includes a burger, two pints of beer, and the guided bike ride. There are trail levels from beginner to experienced, so just bring your own bike and helmet and you’re good to go!
The event is Sunday the 14th from 1 to 5 PM, and tickets are limited so get yours ASAP. Did we mention the Maine Brewers Guild events often sell out? What are you waiting for? Here’s the link!
If you happen to miss out on this one, the Maine Brewers Guild Beer Festival kicks off July 25th in Portland. General admission tickets are aplenty, but VIP tickets are limited! More info here.
Speaking of beer and burgers, if you leave the trail hungry or thirsty for more on Sunday, we’ve got three books you’ll want to drink right up: Crafty Bastards: Beer in New England from the Mayflower to Modern Day for the craft beer enthusiast, American Burger Revival: Brazen Recipes to Electrify a Timeless Classic for the grill master, and Drinking Boston: A History of the City and Its Spirits for the cocktail connoisseur. You can find these books on unionparkpress.com, Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, or at your favorite independent bookstore!
