What do you get when a Maine TV station films a Connecticut resident in the state of New Hampshire?
A truly New England experience, that’s what!
Kim Knox Beckius, author of New England’s Historic Homes & Gardens, was on air with Steve Minich of Portland’s WMTW 8 last night, in a “Project Economy” segment featuring cost-saving tips for the upcoming summer travel season. When money is tight, it can be tough to take the entire family on a fun trip, even for just a quick day away. Kim Knox Beckius shared advice on how to make your dollar go farther, with tips on how to plan ahead and how to find the best deals.
Beckius also showed viewers that a day trip can also be educational and entertaining with a visit to a historic home like The Fells, a stunning site located on Lake Sunapee in Newbury, New Hampshire – one of the thirty-six homes from across the region included in New England’s Historic Homes & Gardens.
