newportSince The Coastal Table is replete with delicious, innovative recipes featuring local produce from southern New England’s seaside, it only makes sense that author Karen J. Covey will bring her book to the Newport Wine and Food Festival!

Karen will be signing copies of her popular book as part of the Grand Tasting outside of the Marble House on Sunday, September 22nd from 1:15-2:15. The festival begins on Friday, September 20th and continues through Sunday. It will feature a lineup of celebrity chefs, including Persimmon Provisions‘ Champe Speidel, who is featured in The Coastal Table. Other festival highlights include the Wine & Rosecliff gala celebration, the Newport After Dark party, and seminars led by wine experts. If you haven’t already purchased your ticket, be sure to do so ASAP as many events are rapidly selling out!
