Boston Bruins 2011 Stanley Cup Champions 3×5 Banner. Still not done celebrating the B’s Stanley Cup championship? Stage your own banner raising ceremonies with this miniature banner and a mini Stanley Cup.

Replica Citgo Sign. Red Sox fans should get ready to be hypnotized by this replica of the landmark Citgo sign. Like the real sign towering over Kenmore Square, this miniature version can pulsate with red, white, and blue neon lights.

Boston Breakers T-shirt. Any child of the ‘80s probably has a soft spot in his heart for the USFL, that upstart football league that challenged the NFL. Throwback Max sells a T-shirt featuring the logo of the Boston Breakers. Alas, the Breakers lasted only one year in town before skipping first to New Orleans and then to Portland and then to dustbin of history. (Soccer fans can also get throwback T’s for the defunct Boston Minutemen and New England Teamen of the old NASL.)

Boston Beaneaters T-shirt. If remembering the ‘70s and ‘80s isn’t quite retro enough, you can truly go old school with a T-shirt from Ebbetts Field Flannels remembering the Boston Beaneaters of the 1890s. Complete with a player in a pillbox hat, the shirt celebrates the Boston franchise in the short-lived Players League, which played in the Congress Street Ball Grounds. (The company also sells football jerseys from the Boston Shamrocks football team that played at Fenway Park in the 1930s.)

Editor’s Note: Christopher Klein is a Boston-based sports writer and Union Park Press author of Discovering the Boston Harbor Islands: A Guide to the City’s Hidden Shores and The Die-Hard Sports Fan’s Guide to Boston: A Spectator’s Handbook. While he humbly suggests the above gifts, we’d be remiss not to recommend his definitive guide to the incredible range of spectator sporting events in and around the Hub. The Die-Hard Sports Fan’s Guide to Boston is an all-access ticket to the greatest sports city in the world, and is sure to appeal to the sports lover on your list!
