We’re counting down the days until the 2012 Boston Book Festival! For the third consecutive year, Union Park Press will take to Copley Square to show off our gorgeous books and mingle with our readers and other book lovers. This year’s festival is on Saturday, October 27th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Stop by our booth, located next to Boylston Street and near Trinity Church, to check out our newest title, Drinking Boston, which will be officially released on November 1st! Drinking Boston examines the city’s complicated relationship with alcohol, dating back to Revolutionary taverns and pre-Prohibition saloons, and brings readers to today’s neighborhood barrooms and the current cocktail renaissance that’s sweeping the nation. Author Stephanie Schorow will be signing early copies at our booth from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and the book will be available for a special discounted price. While you’re there, be sure to download Drinking Boston‘s free smartphone app that complements the book. If you can’t wait until then, just follow this link to download the app now!

Don’t forget to take a look at our other titles at the festival! Union Park Press specializes in books about the arts, history, and culture of Boston and New England, so you’re sure to find something you’ll love.

We can’t wait to see you there!
