Christopher Klein, author of Discovering the Boston Harbor Islands, will share the “stranger than fiction” history of the 34 islands at the Beverly Public Library on Monday, April 8th at 9:30 a.m. Audiences will hear tales of ghosts, shipwrecks, prisoners of war, and Revolutionary War battles that took place here. If you haven’t heard one of Chris’ talks yet, this is the perfect opportunity!
Chris is also author of The Die-Hard Sports Fan’s Guide to Boston, and has had articles featured in The Boston Globe, New England Travel, National Geographic Traveler, American Heritage, and on ESPN.com. His talk is part of the “Monday Mornings” lecture series and is free and open to the public. Don’t forget to bring copies of Chris’ books so he can sign them. Don’t own a copy yet? No worries—they’ll be on sale at the event. We look forward to seeing you there!
